Gibson guitar parts
Looking for genuine Gibson guitar parts or Gibson bass parts? Or perhaps a new Gibson restoration project? Vintage and new parts, plus 'new old' stock (NOS); items made in the past, yet stored unused until now.
Gibson have been making fine guitars for over a century. Most older instruments are highly collectable, and command high prices, particularly if in 100% original condition. The 1950s Les Paul, Explorer and Flying V models can sell for incredible sums, with slightly less-rare guitars: the dot inlay ES-335, SG Custom, Firebird, Thunderbird, and early EB basses still changing hands at 3 or more times the cost of an equivalent model today. Obviously the parts are also hard to come by, but often different models used the same components, which helps enormously in replacing a missing damaged/part.
Some 70s guitars and basses are quite common, so parts are more available. Just a few bridge, pickup, tuning key (tuners) variations existed; parts were shared by lots of models
