This listing is for a collection of items that came from a sunburst 1962 reissue Strat made in 1989. The story is: The guitar the buyer initially wanted suddenly wasn't available. They had already started drafting up the sales slip when this was made known. He settled for another 62 reissue hoping it would be the same.

You just dip it in water for a few seconds and slide on. I never had a problem applying these. I have used others I bought around the same time, and they all work, no falling apart. The molds were the same all those years, but the formulation of the nylon changed a few times. These are the 1969-1974 stark white material is translucent white with dull patina. Ultra rare vintage part from the first year production!
Original 1954 Stratocaster pickup cover in polystyrene (aka "Bakelite " ) used only for the very first years, from 1954 to early 1957
The remaining structure is in good condition with no cracks or repairs. The top side has been lost over the years, however it is usable because the side part protects the winding leaving visible the black base of the pickup exposed (see the photos of the cover installed on the pickguard)
