    Cool Tele Mod

    I used this 4 position switch in a Telecaster build to allow switching between series and parallel wiring of the two pickups. It's a pretty cool mod. There's not a lot of difference between the two positions tone wise. But the output level is changed so you can get a little extra drive at the flip of the switch instead of messing with the other settings or adding another pedal to the chain. I did have to buy 2 switches, as the first one was damaged. I'm not sure if it arrived that way or if I damaged it when I was soldering the connections. But at least it wasn't a very expensive part to replace. I'm very happy with the final result.

    this is the one... the ONLY one... to get

    if you've been thinking about trying a 4 way tele switch, don't try and save money by buying a knock off... i did, and it fell apart on me first time i flicked it. this is the REAL deal, from fender, and works fantastic. includes a proper wiring diagram for this particular switch, its built nice and solid and works perfectly. the switching positions go left to right (looking down) neck and bridge in series, which is a KILLER sound for leads or rhythms, very much like a phat p90 kinda tone... then neck, then neck and bridge in paralell, standard tele sounds, and finally bridge. this sucker ROCKS! get one. you won't regret it.

    This four way telecaster switch works gr...

    This four way telecaster switch works great. It took some fiddling with the wires to figure out how to properly wire my Noiseless Gen 4 pickups but the switch is a nice upgrade to my stock 3 way switch.
