The adjustments possible with this bridge make it so much easier to dial in my Thunderbird. The sustain is significantly improved, and it makes it feel like a much more quality instrument. Hipshot on a Thunderbird bass

Greatly improves sound of my SG
I bought this for my Gibson SG, as the old standard bridge just wasn't "cuttin' it", and the corner popped out. This Supertone bridge is an easy switch-out/drop-in. Improvements: increased sustain, no more dead E string - it growls now, and a lot more punch!! Huge improvements!! Looks fabulous, too! And it's a solid, reliable piece of hardware. I highly recommend this bridge.

wish I had known about this years ago
I love this bridge. It made my Epiphone EB3 actually playable. No amount of adjusting the original 3 point bridge that came on the bass could I get the strings low enough that it didn't take a bus to push them down and they buzzed. Installation took about 10 minutes and now the bass plays like butter. Looks great too. Best bridge for any Gibson/Epiphone bass
Exactly as described - perfectly fits holes on Epiphone Thunderbird, comes with two sets of screws (for Gibson and Epiphone). After quick installation you can finally setup your saddles individually in all directions (up/down, back/forward, sideways). Great on a JC
I have an Epiphone Jack Casady Signature and got the bridge to replace the stock 3 point one. It was an easy, fast change out. Due to the arch top of the bass you need to put a small cushion on the bottom back of the bridge near the bolts. The little self-stick ones used on kitchen cabinets and drawers are perfect. The individual saddle height adjustment is the main reason I went for a Hipshot. That and the side to side string spacing adjustment make this bridge very flexible when doing a setup. Great bridge for Gibson basses!
If you're reading this, you likely already know that this is a far superior bridge than the stock Gibson bass bridge. I chose this over the Babicz, because it has side to side adjustment, and is significantly less expensive. The results are, my bass now has INDIVIDUAL string height adjustment, and I can adjust the spacing. My bass is setup just the way I want it now. This Hipshot bridge has made my Thunderbird playable! The original bridge used to shred my hand thanks to the bridge screw placement. Enter the Hipshot SuperTone replacement with its awesome recessed bolts and Bam! No brainer upgrade
If you have a Gibson with 3-point mounting, this is an easy and worthwhile improvement. String winding don't touch the saddles like the stock bridge Dialing in the intonation is also much easier with the adjustment screws in the back instead of the front.
