    Great solution to killing single coil noise in your Rickenbacker

    Put these in my 4003 to kill the single coil noise. Noise is gone. Output is higher thanks to the humbuckers. My Ric still sounds like a Ric. Overall very happy. Not the cheapest pickup mind you but in my opinion worth it if you are fighting hum / noise demons in your studio or rig. NOTE: You have to replace (and thus lose) the original bridge pickup ring and pickup cover so if you're looking to keep your Ric looking exactly like it did then these aren't for you. You "might" be able to alter one or the other to fit nicely but for me it wasn't worth it. I just used the replacement pickup ring that came with the Duncans and didn't worry above leaving the "chrome dome" cover off.
