Part was exactly as advertised. Shipped quickly. Seller was awesome about explaining what I needed for particular my application. Was very patient with me when I questioned the fit (due to my confusion) and walked me through it. My Luthier installed the parts yesterday and they work just as they should. They were a great value! I have bought from this seller before and I would by from him again.

    Seymour-Duncan: The Pup Boss

I love the Fender Jazz bass in all of its variations, but the output from the pickups, regardless of Jazz model, left me wanting more. I love the growl, but I wanted more growl. I tried Fender Noiseless and Fender N3; they both cut the noise, but the growl remained subdued. I tried Bartolini, but I couldn't hear any difference. I even shelled out the bucks for a set of Nordstrand, but still no improvement. Finally, I got smart and ordered a set of S-D SJB-3 quarter pounders. Wow! There was the growl I was wanting! Never again will I waste money on another brand. I bought quarter pounders for my favorite Precision bass, and they blew me away. I even bought quarter pounders for my Telecaster guitar, and now it sounds more "Tele" than ever before. Seymour-Duncan Quarter Pound pups are tops, ...

  • The last bass pup you’ll ever need….

I absolutely love these pickups. Very hot output with just the right touch of growl. With both bridge and neck pups dimed, there is no hum, and as long as your shielding is decent you’ll get very little noise. The tone is a nice balance; everything is there, so you can easily cut whatever freqs you *don’t* want. I put these in both of my fretless Jazz bass platform builds and am very happy with them. Recommend these highly.

  • These pickups sound awesome!

Great pickups, easy to install, sound amazing! Replaced the factory pickups on my 08 Fender Jazz Bass. These pickups brought it to life. They are very punchy with crisp highs, mids, and lows. Gave my bass that "Groul" sound.

  • Coolest pickup set ever!

I just upgraded a cheap Jazz Bass copy with these, and it sounds so much better! The only thing it lacks are springs for the screws, but I have plenty of springs, so it's ok. The included wiring instructions are great too. A must-have for any bassist!

  • Good thick tone

Fat sounding, with girth and growl. A definite fuller meaty sound compared to stock MIM jazz pickups. Very good for rock finger style.
