    Fender American vintage 65' pickups

    Great set of pickups, unfortunately the neck kept on cutting out! Checked solder to pickup selector and pot, put guitar back together two hours later it cut out again!! Took guitar apart for the third time and discovered that the point wher the hot lead was soldered to the base of pickup was a dry joint. Re soldered that and it's been fine ever since. Fender really ought to up their quality control.
