    Great looking neck

    Pictures don't show how beautiful this neck is. It did need to spot level the frets in 5 small spots. I smoothed out the fret ends a bit as well. They were not sharp but not smooth either.Fretboard was slightly rough to the touch kinda like tiny raised grain. That buffed of easily when polishing the frets. This was all very minor work. If your body has a 5/8 neck pocket you will need to route about another 1/8 inch deeper for the bridge height to work.

    The Superbowl of guitar necks

    Any time you can pick up an authentic Fender neck at about the same price as a 3rd party brand you need to consider it seriously. Fender's replacement necks, in my opinion, are far better than most of the necks that come with their guitars. This one, with roasted maple and a pau ferro fretboard, is the Superbowl of guitar necks. The maple is smooth and fast and the pau ferro is a tiny bit brighter than rosewood. A good value, a good playing neck.

    I loved the neck.

    I I was very interested in these Fender produced products (necks) that came out from Fender to compete with the aftermarket like Warmoth. They're not exactly cheap but they are nice products. You get what you pay for. I would definitely buy again.

    Beautiful playing neck

    I have never been a fan of pau ferro but this neck changed my mind. The tone is wonderful but the feel of the roasted maple allows your hand to just glide up and down the neck. Great job Fender Mexico!
