    A high quality, rich jazz sound that also boosts up nicely.

    I installed this pickup in a Les Paul Custom. The PAF '59 neck pickup was just the sound I was looking for. I am fortunate to have other Les Pauls that give me a guts and glory rock sound but I wanted something closer to a clean Johnny Smith jazz sound from time to time. I found it with this pickup. Having said that, it also punches up nicely for rock rhythm, too. High quality and was easy to wire in.
